"Theatre, performance and other activity on site on both days!"
Watch out! Enormous prehistoric beasts that tower high above your heads and brush against the trees are at large! They’re hungry and roaming the site searching for food. Pack up your picnics, keep hold of the kids but don’t panic - they’re vegetarians!
Cuban visual artists Filiberto and Yanoski are fast gaining an international reputation for their inventive creations that use simple materials such as papier-mâché & cardboard. The brothers will be on site for two days using their skills to create something special with help from the people of Croydon!!

HORSE & BAMBOO THEATRE
HORSE & BAMBOO THEATRE present THE P-POD
This intimate portable theatre space invites an audience of just 35 people per show to experience a specially created magical close-up puppet performance. There are three 15-minute shows that will be performed across both days.
This large inflatable structure is a walk-in labyrinth of intense colour and light. The Colourscape experience has been compared to being "wrapped in a rainbow" - long views of the most intense colours open up in every direction.
Musicians will perform throughout the day with Mongolian Overtone Singing, Tibetan Singing Bowls, panpipes, Chinese percussion, with a performance by Croydon school children.
N.B. there will be a small entrance charge!

THE SPEAK EASY CARAVAN
Pop into our cosy caravan on site where you can have your say about the festival. Students involved in a video training project will be capturing peoples thoughts! Young people have been working over the last few weeks to create this unique feature, which will then be edited into a short film.
Positioned near the dell surrounded by trees, the enchanting kids area invites you to pop in for a fun packed afternoon. We’ll be painting, making flowers and getting messy! There’ll be the chance to make your own glove puppet out of recycled textiles with artist Bridget West and lots of other activities.
At WORLD PARTY you can help Mosaic All Sorts make a stunning Magic Carpet by designing and building your own mosaic square with wood, grout, tiles and of course an old t-shirt to cover your clothes.
At the MELA, artist Miriam Aggett will give you a plain t-shirt and show you how to decorate it using fabric paint, glitter, sequins and most importantly your imagination. When it is dry you can take your t-shirt home or wear it while you enjoy the rest of your day.
You don’t need any experience, just come along and join in.
